The Hortus Festival brings classical music to the botanic gardens of Amsterdam. Expect a beautiful way to spend a summer evening while enjoying funky jazz or even passionate tango performances!
Enjoy exotic greenery with classical music. Concerts take place in the beautiful Hortus Botanicus (among the world’s oldest botanical gardens), on the terrace of the Orangery, its stylish café and restaurant. Previous editions featured works by Schumann, Chopin, Poulenc and Schönberg. The Orangery restaurant usually adjusts their evening menu for each performance, in keeping with the character of the different acts.
