Unseen Photo Festival is an annual international photography fair and festival in Amsterdam, held at local event space Westerpark.
More than 54 galleries are welcomed from across the world in the beautiful Westergasfabriek, near Yays Zoutkeetsgracht and Yays Bickersgracht. Unseen focuses on new photography, emerging talent and new work by established artists. The exhibition invites the visitors to be challenged, excited and inspired by bringing together many of the city's leading galleries, artists and initiatives using photography in unexpected ways.
The core programme of the fair includes displays by national and international photography galleries, and events such as the Unseen Living Room, the Unseen Book Market, and interesting onsite one-of-a-kind projects. The fair exclusively focuses on contemporary artwork and techniques in the photography world, an amazing platform and opportunity for new talent and low-key artists to exhibit their work.
Bringing together the photography community, debates and discussions about the medium of photography are also a part of this exhibition. This is the sixth edition of Unseen, which again takes place at the vibey and local event space Westergasfabriek in Westerpark, a short walk from yays Zoutkeetsgracht and Yays Bickersgracht.
An event not to be missed by photography lovers!
