REM Eiland used to have the purpose of generating an experience. As a broadcasting platform, it made sure that millions of viewers enjoyed the first Dutch commercial television. It was the rebellious piracy channel called TV Noordzee that reached a broad audience.
REM Eiland these days is still all about creating an experience, but it now does so in the form of a modern restaurant. The robust and industrial elements of the former broadcasting platform combined with the amazing view still creates a great experience for its visitors. Dining at REM Eiland is dining with a piece of history.
REM Eiland is open for lunch and dinner. The menu consists of seasonal ingredients thoughtfully combined into fantastic dishes. The lunch menu has delicious sandwiches or salads and even seafood platters. For dinner, choose one of the 3- or 4-course meals or go a la carte. Portions are generous and the food is amazing!
